Maggie, a curly blonde with sea blue eyes had just turned five. She was a little tyrant; darting here and there in search of her next victim. The cat was her usual suspect but today she was quiet and calm.
She sat on her chair in the kitchen, extreme concentration on her face. She was helping mommy bake a cake. Something she loved doing and of course something that mostly kept her out of trouble.
She mixed and added ingredients as her mom gave them to her but when mommy turned around, Maggie, tried to add the icing sugar to the butter in the bowl and managed to pour the whole bag in. She was very upset and started to sob. Mommy looked at the bowl and said in a pleasant voice, “its okay my angel we will just have to make more cupcakes.”
Maggie was over the moon and decided not all accidents are bad.
